New Zealand is the only country that allows pharmacists to work as doctors. The role of a New Zealand pharmacist can be very rewarding – you'll get to interact with people on a daily basis and help them to live healthier lives by providing trustworthy advice about medicines， and by educating patients on how to utilize their health care funds in an efficient manner. You'll also have opportunities for career development within this field， including additional training which can lead to further specialization or management positions down the track if your interests lie in that direction. As well as being able to provide medical services like any other general practitioner， our pharmacists are trained in advanced pharmacy practice to meet patient needs beyond those typically provided at a conventional pharmacy. For example， we can assist with preventative healthcare measures like immunizations and blood pressure screenings， as well as managing chronic conditions such asthma， diabetes 和high cholesterol.
