新西兰缺什么拉丁舞老师吗?
New Zealand does need Latin teachers. I have been teaching Salsa/Merengue in Auckland for 15 years now and there is still huge demand from students of all ages, but mostly young adults. I teach at the largest dance school in NZ(over 700pupil, just in salsa), as well as smaller venues and community centres around town. All levels from beginners to competitive pros. We also have a large student body that go on to study at university(Auckland, Victoria等). There are many more who pursue professional careers with theatre or TV works.
Latin Dance is very popular in New Zealand, especially So...cial Dancing(Salsa, Bachata etc), but also Hip Hop, Contemporary, Ballroom etc. You will be surprised by the numbers of youth(especially girls) on the streets dancing and practicing in their homes. The only problem I see in this industry is that new comers do not stick around long enough to develop a love and passion for all styles of latin dancing, and therefore become bored easily and move on to something else. Hence you see some young students come into class with great enthusiasm but leaving after a while feeling disappointed. It's hard to find good teachers, so if you are serious about becoming an instructor, make sure you are training and studying hard, and don't give up easy!
